One more time around the germy block.

Well, I've gone and done it one more time.  I am sick again.  I just don't get why I keep winning the germ lottery.

But thankfully, so far, Bean isn't sick.  I'd rather be sick any day than her.  You feel so helpless when your babies are sick.

Last week I was diagnosed with a pretty bad urinary tract infection.  I've been prone to these since getting a really horrible one a few years back right after my liver surgery.  This is the first time I've had one though in almost a year.  I was prescribed an antibiotic but my doctor still sent my cultures off to be examined.  She called me yesterday and told me that she got the results back from the cultures and the antibiotic that she originally prescribed for me and I completed is resistant to this particular strain of infection.  So now I have to begin a whole new round of antibiotics.

Then on top of that, my nose freaked out on me yesterday and went crazy.  I don't know if it's allergies or some type of ebola that I have going on but I must have sneezed every minute for an hour yesterday.  My sides and my nose are killing me.

Hey!  Aren't you glad you stopped by today to read this blog!  You now know more about me than you ever wanted.

Those of you that have walking germ boxes, I mean children, or are exposed to said germ boxes, how do you avoid the sickies?  I am definitely into avoidance at all costs.  Please give me some tips!

Sorry you're sick!! Bleh! I hate being sick. With my job, I do a lot of handwashing and use a lot of hand sanitizer and that really helps to cut back on the germs.

I honestly am not sure if sickness can be avoided, even if we are careful with cleaning and sanitizing. My advice: Never let yourself or your family leave the house ever again. What? Not practical??? Hmmm. Then I'm out of ideas. :) But I do hope you feel better soon. I've had plenty of UTI's in my life and they are bad enough on their own!

Sorry about your Ebola virus, and stuff. I always get a daily sneezing attack.. usually in the morning after I have been at work for about an hour. So, yeah.. it's an environmental allergy, it seems.
