Etsy Share #5 - Back to School

Welcome to Etsy Share!  A weekly link party where you can show off favorite items found on Etsy.

Here are the only rules to this link party:
  • Please enter the link to your Etsy treasury or to your blog post where you share a few found treasures on Etsy. If you are linking to a blog post, please enter the link to the actual post, not the whole blog. I will try to pick out a few honorable mentions and share those later on.
  • Make sure your treasuries or blog posts are family friendly.  This blog really is a journal of my family's lives and I just don't want there to be anything on here I would be afraid to share with Bean later on.
  • Please copy my button code and put it in your blog post or the sidebar of your blog if you have one.
  • (Optional) Please share this link party with anyone that you know loves Etsy.  This is a brand new link party and I'd like to "get the word out" and I need your help to do that.
It's that time of year again - back to school.  While Bean isn't technically in school, she will be starting a new preschool soon.  I hope she likes it as much as she liked her old school.  She hasn't been there since May but she still talks about her teachers and classmates all the time.

So in honor of this time of year, I thought we could all search Etsy for our favorite back to school finds.  Anything that relates to school, going to school, anything that reminds you of school.  You get the idea.  Let's see how can be Teacher's Pet this week.  Happy hunting.

Oh, I thought that maybe some people might not know how to create a Treasury on Etsy.  So, here's a quick run down on how to set one up.  First, you do need to create a free account on Etsy.  Once you've done that,  on the homepage, you will see a heart right next to the search box.  Click on the heart which takes you to your Favorites page.  On this page you will see a tab that reads "Treasury Lists".  Click on that.  This brings up a page that says "your favorite Treasury lists will live here".  Underneath this there will be a clickable link that says "The Treasury".  Once you click that link, you'll bring up a page that shows some of the latest member created treasuries.  On the right hand side under Curator Tools, you will see "Create a Treasury".

Once you click that it will bring up a blank treasury.  All you have to do then is to copy the page links of the items you want to include in your treasury, paste them in one of the boxes, and then click "Ok".  Once you've filled all your boxes in, you can click Save and there you go.  Your first Etsy treasury is born.  It's really very easy.

I hope that helps some of you that weren't quite sure how to set a treasury up.  Now, here's my  Back to School treasury.

I dropped the ball again this week. Sorry! I just worked seven days in a row, though, so a lot slipped my mind this week. What is the theme for number 6? I will try to have one up tonight if I can get back on here :)
